They rip off bands. I am a member of a regional act which played at Soul Kitchen until recently. We refuse to play there anymore. We stoped when we were informed that the owners of the bar were stealing two thousand dollars from the door (the door charge is how we are paid for performing) everytime we played there. If you are a band that plays Soul Kitchen, have one of your people watch the door. If you are a patron who enjoys music, help your favorite band by telling the managment here to stop stealing from them.

most fun when they have concerts. Great place to party! Especially need to go when the Molly Ringwalds play. Keep in mind it's not a fancy place by any means, but the beer is cold and the music is great. There is parking right across the street.
