Well worth the short drive from all directions. Reasonable prices; generous portions. Bring your camera and take an after-eating walk about the working seafood industry town; drive around the picturesque locale. As of July 15, 2009, hours are M-S 11am to 9pm. Closed Sundays. Daily "blue plate" specials M-F; call for lunch menu. Just good food, including comfort vegetables. And yep, they've got sweet iced tea. Ask if they have the crab claws; they'll tell you over the phone. They are the biggest on the coast. Bannana pudding is made from scratch. Good steaks, too. Everyone, including families, welcomed by friendly, helpful wait staff and owners and friendly diners, too. Strike up an acquaintance with another couple in line and share a table during the busy times. Usual wait is about 15 minutes in evening; sometimes a little more if you're a large group or you don't come early.
