very unprofessional. the bouncer took my 5 dollars i walked a few steps inside the bar and a woman said that i needed to give her 5 bucks. i turned around and the bouncer bolted. i fought w/ the woman who was collecting money. she was refuting what i was saying and all of a sudden that bouncer told me i had to leave and pretended the incident never happened. there are some nice people who work there but from now on my friends and i will not be returning grand central again.

Best spot to meet up.... It's a great place to meet up with friends. There are two floors with a balcony above the stage. For the ladies, I recommend the bathroom upstairs. The bands are hit or miss but usually fun no matter what. The crowd is mixed and always ready for a good time.

Nice. Have had fun there. There is a cover and you need a dumb ABC ID card. Website is terrible.

Grand Central is the place.. Best bands Dread Eden (heavy new rock),Peek (soft new rock),II Far Gone - (90's-Current rock)

II Far Gone is the best. Sounding most like the band they covered. Most diversified, and sound like the band they cover. Great musicians, and good showmanship.

Popular with all of the crowd present. Not a person in the crowd wasn't singing along with them.

Dead Eden was very heavy, and very poular with the young head bangers.

Peek was popular with the middle aged women. Peek was voted best by a local magazine, but I beg to differ with the outcome.

The only place to go!. Grand is awesome, never a cover and always have great music. Live bands and dance music between sets. The long island ice teas are amazing there, may sure you have one! It does get crowded sometimes especially by the stage, but thats because its the place to be!

A must for downtown. Grand Central is a must when you go downtown. Everyone is there so it is usually packed. Most of the time they have good bands.....but sometimes they slip up and book some really bad ones
