The Garage!!!. One of the best kept secrets in Mobile. A friend took me there 4 years ago and I go back every chance I can. The regulars are a great group of people that make you feel welcome every time. Best place to view the Mardi Gras parades from!!!

If you are ever downtown Mobile, stop in and check it out!!!

watch your bill. it was fine until i found out that there were these 2 guys who were working behind the bar who were repeatedly caught overcharging people for drinks...and then i found out one of them was the owner!...lol i had never been so turned off by a sleazy bar before. probably never go there again.

PAY ATTENTION!!!. great place to hang out! Especially since half of mobile politicals hang out there but one of the owners if you do not watch your tab will double charge you. Check your tab or receipts. Ohter than that GREAT PLACE to hang out... but somebody has to pay for the new bar stools right.

Another night after work and the same thing but now it's fights and hey owners what's up with the jukebox who keeps changing it? Place is starting to just be average but hey where else can you and have an attorney or commissioner on your side. Thumbs up

Really make you feel welcome. Friendly atmosphere and really great people. Wish that I could visit it all the time.. This really is one of the best bars I've ever been to. They really are a warm group of people. I got to go there several times over a period of 6 months and they never made me feel anything but welcome. Wish that I could go there all of the time.

Local Watering Hole. The Garage is a great little watering hole. No one in town can compete with their drink prices and their bartenders look better than any joint in town. Mostly downtown business people there who engage in good conversation and are generally very polite and easy to meet. Go to the Garage some time... where it's good to be odd.
