This place is a filthy dump. I would avoid this place and splurge on something on the main highways, if available, or head further out of town if you can do better. I ended up in Mobile on my way back from the Florida Gulf Coast and figured I'd stay for the night but couldnt' find anything with vacancies due to some convention in town that weekend. Got stuck at the Taylor Motel and barely slept a wink out of paranoia for my car and myself. The parking lot is completely unlit, the door hinges seem weak and unsecured, the bed was filthy and there were all sort of questionable characters milling about in the parking lot in the wee hours of the morning. Somebody came around to knock on my door about 3am long after i'd turned out the lights and then after I didnt' answer went on down to the next door making a racket. Avoid it if you can!
