I have a two year old daughter and absolutely LOVED Dr. Nancy Wood! She explained everything to me perfectly and could not have been sweeter. I have recommended her to 3 friends and everyone has been extremely pleased with her attention to detail and her kind ways. I also found out that she was chief resident at the pediatric hospital in Augusta Georgia before joining the Mobile firm. I highly recommend her.

DO NOT SEE DR. Nancy Wood!!. My wife and I have used Pediatric Associates for over 6 years now and have never had a real complaint until recently. On Tuesday, April 25, My wife received a call from My Mother-in-Law while she was at work. She informed us that our 2 year old son had a fever of 102.7. Naturally, I took him to the Dr.'s Office ASAP. We had to see Dr. Wood because our regular Doctor was not in. I told her about my son's fever, and that his sister had strep throat less than 2 weeks ago. When she went to look at his throat, he clenched his teeth, I basicly had to pry his mouth open for her. She barely looked in his mouth, and said it was alright. She said that she did not know what was causing his fever. The next morning he STILL had a fever. My Mother-in-Law got him to open his mouth and she saw that his throat was swollen and he had white spots on his tonsils. AGAIN, I had to take him BACK to the office and actually got a decent Dr. (Shearer) and he actually gave my son a strep test...and guess what? HE HAD STREP THROAT! After the extra day that my son had to suffer because of Dr. Woods incompetance, two trips to the Office and $70 worth of co-pays...I DO NOT RECCOMEND this lady. P.S., I tried to talk to the office manager about waiving our co-pay, and that did not happen either.
