Great experience. I found Mally's thru my boss. I went in to have Nikki cut my hair. OMG, I was so right to have done that. After a bad 2 years and not taking care of the "beauty" in my life, I saw her as a miracle worker. I am telling you..... It was amazing. If that wasn't enough... everyone there was so nice. The shop is wonderful and everyone was so welcoming. Velma.... Oh sweet Velma gave me a manicure that made me melt. My eyebrows... well she didn't even need a bushwacker to get them under control. She is just that good. I am telling everyone I know to go there. For me it was a little drive but soooooooooo darn worth it.

Great salon. MJL44 - shame on you whoever you are. I suspect that you work for or are friends with someone at Posh salon. In July 2008 you rated Posh 5 stars, saying you had just moved to Mobile and were so happy to find such a wonderful place. One year later, you gave terrible ratings to two other salons on the same day. If you loved Posh so much why would you go to two other salons within a year? Whoever runs this website should find out your true identity and if you are or were associated with Posh, they should let me know so I can take action against you for defamation and interference with business relations. And yes, I am the proud owner of Mally's Salon.

The 'best' stylist afraid to cut my hair the length I wanted. I went here to cut my hair and got the 'best' hairstylist, and I wanted to cut my hair to about shoulder length. My hair was to the middle of my back at the time, and the stylist was afraid to cut it that short, saying that some people don't like to get their hair cut that drastically. So she cut it to the length SHE felt comfortable with and asked me if that was OK, and I said I'd like it shorter, and she cut it maybe 1/4 of an inch shorter. So frustrating. Meanwhile she was telling me how she started not too long ago at some kind of supercuts like place, where they train you how to cut hair. I could tell. She was afraid to do anything to my hair, had to ask if I was okay with her doing each step and took so long to do simple things. Needless to say I was not satisfied and had to immediately schedule an appt at another place to get my hair to the length I wanted. If this was their best, I was not going to risk trying a different stylist.
