Best Italian Food in Mobile. This food is always consistently great. Their steaks are excellent, not something you would expect from an Italian restaurant. The calamari is always fresh tasting. The sauces are wonderfully crafted. You just can't go wrong with Carrabba's in Mobile.

Decorated with family photos of founders Damian Mandola and Johnny Carrabba, the open dining rooms pack groups of friends and extended families into four- and six-person tables and booths; smaller parties or couples can grab stools at the open kitchen's adjoining bar to watch chefs make dinner. The traditional southern Italian menu offers grill specialties like steak Marsala and fire-roasted chicken breast with sun-dried tomatoes; pasta dishes include fettuccine Alfredo and garlic-sauteed shrimp with linguine.

Best Calamari Anywhere. call ahead on weekends.. The best service and cuisine of any restaurant in Mobile, hands down. The calamari is excellent, steaks are grade A, the best wood fired pizza anywhere. Highly Recommended. Call ahead on weekends though, they tend to be packed. Try to get a booth or sit at the bar because the tables are very close together in the seating area
