Good BBQ at good prices. As with any place you go out to eat at, if something is not right (to tough, bland, etc.) you let your server know the problem and get it right. I have been a Sonnys customer for more than 18 years now. I had only had to talk with the manager on 2 occasions all these years when I didn't get satisfaction from my server. Remember your the customer and its your money you are giving them, so if your not happy, let them know and give them them a chance to fix it (they are usually very polite about making you happy).

Inexpensive barbecue is the main draw at this reliable Southeastern chain.. In Short
Owner Sonny Tillman has been serving the same Southern barbecue and fixings since 1968. A common roadside stop, Sonny's offers low prices and barbecue; roomy booths, wagon-wheel chandeliers and homey craft art are the standard dining room decor. House barbecue sauce, available sweet, regular or hot, spices up large helpings of smoked beef, pork, chicken, turkey and ribs. Sides like fresh fried okra, onion rings and barbecue beans complement the entrees.

Most Boring Barbecue Anywhere.. I would rate this place as far below average as I can without saying that I would not recommend it. I would only not recommend someone not eat somewhere if the food made me sick. The food at this place didn't make me sick it was simply very boring. I have eaten Barbecue all over the United States at probably 150 different Barbecue restaurants and Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q would be the last one I would go back to. In addition to the food being boring the service was extremely slow and not very friendly or engaging when they got to you. I would have to be extremely hungry and the Krystal across the street would have to be closed before I would eat there again.

ok bbq. Not the best or the worst I've ever had. So what more can I say. Went once, and if I'm hungry and close by looking for bbq I will go again, but will not make a special trip to go there. Nothing was good enough there for me to remember.
