Really good fish!. I was going through Citronelle twice a day for several months this spring when I finally decided to stop and try this little restaurant. What a nice surprise! Very good service, just plain nice folks, and the catfish (order fresh, don't do the buffet) is as good as I get in Louisiana. It is a regular stop for me whenever I am in LA now.

GOOOD FOOD!. I love me some catfish and there's is real good. i am glad of the new location in lucedale so i wont have to drive so far either. keep up the good cooking yall.

TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!. Oh my where to begin, but with the best ever hushpuppies. i love the sweet coleslaw but thank goodness they have the spicy slaw too because my sister-in-law loves it. i ordered the AUCE catfish and shrimp and let me tell you it came out a plate full of yummy. so much food i didnt need to ask for seconds but my waitress made sure i was good. By the way did i mention the best ever hushpuppies and coleslaw yummmmmm. thank you guys and hope to see you soon. Sue

THE WORST EVER !!!. The food was Horrible! The fish was terrible, the hush puppies where gross and the cheese sauce was nasty. I went with a group of over 40 to the lucedale location and we will never go back ever.

The waitress was rude dirty overweight and completely untrained. It obviously wasn't personal because she was rude to everyone even a young waitress that tried to help her.

The only plus to the experience was the short waiting time on the food to arrive to our table but even that small + was ruined by the attitude of our waitress.

Worst service and slowest service EVER received from a restaurant.... Not only was the food minimal in taste and portion sizes, the service was still the WORST part of this experience. The waitress was not polite; she continually told us, "I'll be right with you" and then wasn't!! We had to ask her to please take our order! When we asked for more fish and shrimp (we got the, "All you can eat" plates) we received one piece of fish and no shrimp and then she brought us our bill! The management did not try to resolve the issue with us. Management was harsh and rude as well! Blaming everything on the kitchen staff and never once said, "sorry"!

Management and staff would benefit from a course in consumer politness and customer consideration as well as political correctness when working with the public and consumers with complaints!

Will never go back there and have told others of this horrible, horrible experience at the Sugar Creek Catfish House in Citronelle, Alabama.
