Great desserts. The food here is excellent and the service is very good. It is a really good place to go for a reasonably priced excellent meal. By the way, if you get dessert, try the carrot cake. It is excellent, second only to Laura Clark's.

Great homemade strawberry pie. Was having a bad day today and stopped by Chat-A-Way for lunch. Had a good sandwich and a great piece of strawberry pie. Service was good, and the pie was to die for. Left there with a smile on my face.

Great Little Cafe. I stopped by to eat at chat away for the first time and had the chicken salad sandwich and some cole slaw. That sandwich is worth going back for. I also took home pre made twice baked potatoe's and they were wonderful.

It appeared Chat A Way was under new management.

Awful. Very expensive, and the food was not good.The portions were tiny also. The service was just okay. We never got refills or extra napkins. One slice of pie was $4.95. I will never go back.

What a ripoff. I went for lunch, it was expensive, slow , the waitress was gruochy and slow. Then we asked for takeout boxes and a drink to go. After a dirty look, the waitress brought 2 LITTLE boxes and EMPTY drink cups. WE had nothing to go into the drink cup. We were drinking iced tea witch is water and everyone knows does not cost much at all.

Bad service. My advice is to avoid the redheaded waitress (wish I had her name). I've never had such terrible AND rude service in my life. We waited 10 minutes for just our drink order and even longer for our food order. After the food came, we got no refills, no napkins, no return to our table except to throw the bill. We had a reasonable question about our bill and were met with a rude response. Afraid the food didn't have a chance to sit well when all I can remember is the way we were treated. Won't ever return.

total knock-off. Chandler's was great. Chat a way just a knock-off and not even a good one. If you want the Chandler's food go to The Red Brick Cafe at least a Chandler works there.
