This is a wonderful place to bring your best friends!!!! Jojo is my pet and he loves to come here, he loves the

"WONDERFUL" pampering they do. Great grooming and bathing makes him smell good longer than normal shampoos. When I say "You wanna get a bath, and smell good" he just barks at me like what are you waiting for, of couse if want a bath and smell good, and he jumps on me and he go's as fast as he can to the door! He has 5 best friends there, Sasha, the Shitzue, Jake, the Havonese, and Buttens, the Terrior, his newest friends is Bauer, the dapple doxy, and Maxamous, the boxer pup! All frequent visitors. I'm the secratary part time, pet socializer, "tug" buddy, "catch-me-if-you-can" player, and "TREAT" distiputor 7 days a week, also I love the customers and their pets!!!! When you bring your pet here you will be suprised at how wonderful your pet looks and smells, that you would want to bring your pet here all the time!!!!!! It is a very nice, clean, peaceful place to be. Your pets will always be feelen good and so will YOU! This is why this is the place to be with your best friends!!!!

Dana is Wonderful with your animal!!!!

She works with you & your situation, when to pick up or drop off your pet, not just certain pick up & drop off hours.

My dog loves going there, she wags her tail & can't wait to get in when she see's where we are. At other places I had to DRAG her in the door... I have been goig to Dana for years & will continue to do so. She is a wonderful woman who takes her job seriously & is an AWESOME groomer!

My Beloved Lily goes nowhere but here!

I have been using Dana & Friends for about 8 years now. I was referred to her by a local vet. From my very first experience I knew that I would never take Lily anywhere else. Lily has several health problems and I know that Dana takes the utmost care of her. She always looks amazing and she enjoys spending her "Day of Beauty" with Dana. I have never heard one ounce of negativity regarding her business, until I read the first post, and not for one second do I believe a word that was written. Dana & Friends is the ONLY place that I trust to groom Lily, and did I mention that you cannot get better hand scissoring ANYWHERE...

I highly recommend that you take the time to visit her business and see for yourself and your pet how wonderful it is there. Dana truly is a special person!

• Pros: Super clean & nice facility - Highly Skilled Staff - TRUE ANIMAL LOVERS
• Cons: Schedule early - Their GREAT work keeps them busy!!

You are greeted kindly and with Kisses by the infamous TBONE,and Gracie Girl, inteligent, talented, and loving staff who prides themselves in the quality and professional bathing and grooming. The boarding facility is for inside family pets only, they need to be socialized, non-aggressive, housebroken, playful and loving. They are crated for feeding, and safety and always at pm hours. We love the open floor plan that these pets get to play in! Pets need to be "familiar" to be a temporary resident. Due to an unfortunate situation, this is our new rule. The previous negative review was written with false facts and anyone is welcome to speak to witnesses to the wonderful care that pet recieved. Best Groomer in Mobile!

I (my pets) have been a client of this groomer for over 25 years. In all those years only one minor grooming injury occurred and Dana immediately called and we took the dog to the vet - no real problems. She is a caring and loving person. During hurricane season when my relatives evacuated from New Orleans she met us after hours to take in my sister's dog which did not get along with my cats. I am very sorry the previous post had such a terrible incident, but I assure you that is not what is indicative of this shop. I have one large standard poodle and one teacup poodle that gets groomed on a weekly basis and I believe that Dana & friends is the best shop in Mobile.

Do Not Leave Your Pet Here

I made the mistake of boarding my beloved dog here. Please do not make the same mistake. We called and checked on him daily and not until the last day were we told there was a problem. By the time we pleaded to please take him to the vet and raced (we made an 8 hour drive in 6.5 hours) to get to him, he looked like some poor rescue animal that had been found on the side of the road. My dog normally weighs between 90-100lbs and was in perfect health (he had just been to the vet the week before his boarding for his yearly comprehensive and shots). By the time he got to the vet he only weighed 76 lbs and was bleeding out. The pads on his feet were completely gone and his nails were ground down beyond the quick, his fur was falling out and he could barely stand up. How does a dog lose between 15-20lbs in a matter of days without someone noticing??? It appeared as if my dog hadn't eaten or drank anything for the entire length of his stay. However, come to find out my dog was placed in "isolation" in a warehouse on a cold concrete floor alone for 5 days. My dog was in critical condition 3 days ago and is still in the animal hospital struggling to get better. We would have cut our trip short and returned immediately if we had known there was a problem or if the facility had informed us that they did not wish to keep him. This review is my experience and opinion only; however, I would absolutely NEVER recommend this place. Oh, and in case you are wondering I was still charged the full boarding fee for this little "adventure."

• Pros: Can't think of any, as the results were so drastically horrific
• Cons: A healthy dog checked in and an emaciated and critically ill dog checked out
